Never give up

I would like to share today about how in our minds we find it ok to shut down ourselves because of a bad experience we had. As crazy as this may sound we should welcome every experience we can into our lives. Our pain can only make us better. In 2009 my wife and I sold our business that had wiped us out financially and left us in debt. The easiest thing to do was to be put out off our misery. At the time I owned 3 guns and decided to sell all three for a gun and depression don’t mix. As I sat around the house feeling pity for myself my daughter asked me ‘Dad why don’t you go to school” I paused and said ok. I enrolled in Tidewater Community College and several months later got a Job as an Assistant Manager at Goodwill. My life started to come back as I met new friends and kept my mind busy. I wrote a book and became an author and have learned how to be a better manager than before. I have emerged as the one who wont give up and with that I helped many people who were struggling also, especially at Goodwill. I have seen myself become a stronger person and I’m writing a new book that will be out soon an addition to my website ‘tyronegarcia.com ‘ where I write inspirational has taken off and people from all over the world has read the stories that Tyrone Garcia has written. Today I’m a store manager at Jiffy Lube where I continue to grow and help people with my words. But I”m not done yet !! I’m working on getting my degree in sociology, and psychology an addition I will be opening up that great cafe everyone will love to go eat in and read my daily messages. I have seen a greater door open for me when I thought that my life was a failure!! but failure is also growth for we have to fail in order to stay humble and learn. My new book ” The Text” will be out in late spring.
May God Bless U all Tyrone Garcia
