What does it take to turn a loser into a winner? Disrespect, intimidation, or motivation, for some peoples all of the above. It sometimes takes allot of failure in order to become successful, some give up and just allow life to do with them whatever and some continue to fight while others sit back and learn, but how about the one who fails and is surrounded by losers and negative people but still has potential? What happens to that person? Some will die never knowing some will get lucky and stumble into the right people. I can say that I know of a young man who was lost for many years and was told he would never amount to anything. There was this man called Robert Simmons who talk to the young man all nothe time and lecture him on how he never had a child hood life. He had become grown to quick and missed out on many things little boys would do when growing up. They would spend many hours speaking on the bench and the young man enjoyed talking to him. The young man eventually destroyed his life by using drugs and alcohol, and getting involved in gangs. He struggled to survive though he had a job he still would find ways to mess up his pay and be broke, making an outcast of himself. He was married and had a daughter and messed that up too. While in rehab he called his wife for support; she told him he would never amount to anything. The young man was totally wasted on that news for no one believed in him. He went on to suffer for five more years, than got his life together and became a successful person. He was remarried raised kids started a business helped many people that had his same problem and wrote a book. He is writing this story and he is still moving toward the sky for he will surpass everything and everybody who didn’t believe in him. I guess the motivation of Robert Simmons, the failure of his life and his wife telling him he wouldn’t amount to nothing all had something to do with his success for 22 years he hasn’t taken 1 drink or drug neither. I thank those people for being in my life. I can only say one thing; never let anger control your heart and mind.
May your dream come alive in 2013 :0)
