Tripping over obstacles can bring wisdom..

When I look at my life I have to admit it’s been great. I who worried so much about my future when young and enslaved to that slave master called character defects. I ran the streets like a truck on a collision course of disastrous misfortunes. I would see myself down and out, but the shining light of God would get me back up. I never gave up.  God was always strong in my heart even when It looked like it was anger that controlled it. I fought, argued, lied, and cheated to get by. The streets taught me survival and they also taught me failure. I learned to bring balance to myself.  Good, bad, and confusion being part of our natural ways. Life in itself is an education and we must look at every situation the same. For when we are old we are called wise and smart – smart because we decided to educate ourselves with our shortcomings instead of giving up and blaming the world. As the world turns and we turn with it, so goes our past. So open the door to the future for more education is on its way: and if we learned anything from our first run at life: our next run will be easier. “Wisdom would have arrived”!

May your dream come alive in 2013!!!!
