Change what is it? Is it more money, a different family, places, or just oneself? It’s whatever gives you a different outlook in life. As I continue to grow and write I feel more and more closer to some sort of power of the universe. My circle is very small for I have not many friends. I may have several, but when one starts to look at life different people tend to not understand you, because you are drifting away from the torment of everyday problems. Obstacles start to bounce of you, because your goals are different than before. When I got sober in 1991, I was told by my sponsor, that the more spiritual you get the less people want to know you. Am I radically spiritual? No. But I do tend to leave the world that people live in. My worries are not like before for I am not so crazy about materialism and neither have I worried about it. I work, pay bills, and take care of my responsibilities, and I’m going to Disney world this summer, but I don’t worry about anything for the Universe has kept me upright all my life. If one is worried about terrible outcomes than one never believed in his higher power! I have beaten all the obstacles that have come my way and if I was in my last days,I would not worry, Because God has done for me what I tried so much to do before. To stay sober and love my family and everybody who comes my way. I use to be a tough gang member, who knocked out people with my hands, my hands that were full of anger. Today I lend a hand for those in need. The truth is that I am not a tough gang member or alcoholic fool who thought he knew it all anymore. My mother was a good loving person who was a little dramatic, but never hurt anyone, how can I betray my genes by using my toughness for all the wrong reasons. Can I fight if I had to? Yes, can I kill if I had to? Yes. I can choose everyday to be the devil and I can choose to live in God’s light. If you take me for the fool you will lose because I have the knowledge to know. But if you decide to be my friend you will be a winner. My protection today isn’t a Gun, its higher consciousness. You can’t hurt a free man or woman you can just make them stronger. For our lives is just education that’s all!! the real grade will come later. I am change and I feel it and am proud of it. This is one human who won’t waste his time on worry anymore.
